The department of Prosthodontics at Nimra institute of dental sciences believes in transforming lives through comprehensive method of restoring and replacing missing teeth and or facial structures with wide range of treatment modalities like complete dentures, removable and fixed partial dentures, dental implants and full mouth rehabilitation. our program emphasizes dedicated oral care utilizing advanced techniques and latest technologies to create functional and esthetic smiles. Our department is equiped with semi adjustable articulators with face bows along with dedicated metal ceramic lab.
Our undergraduate Curriculum includes Dental materials theory and labs in first year where we will be training student about manipulation of all the materials used in dentistry, Pre-clinical teeth arrangement labs in Second year ,Clinical Removable Partial Prosthodontics in third year where students will be treating partially edentulous patients, Clinical Removable Complete and Pre clinical Fixed Prosthodontics in final year where students are trained how to handle completely edentulous patients and preclinical fixed prosthodontics work along with compulsory clinical rotations in internship.
